Rewrite each sentence so that it contains the phrasal verb in brackets. You may have to change the form of the verb.
1. In my village, the old artisans teach the younger ones the techniques to make beautiful baskets. (pass down)
2. When we aren't at home, our neighbours are responsible for our cats. (take care of)
3. Her elder sister gave Mai most of her clothes. (hand down)
4. She and her classmates have a friendly relationship. (get on with)
5. His hair and face make me think of his father. (remind of)

Bài 6. Viết lại câu dùng cụm động từ trong ngoặc
Cụm động từ (phrasal verb) có thể tách hoặc không tách tân ngữ; khi tân ngữ là đại từ (me, us…) thì phải đặt giữa động từ và tiểu từ.
a) *pass down* = truyền lại (kinh nghiệm, kĩ thuật) cho thế hệ sau.
Câu gốc: các nghệ nhân dạy kĩ thuật cho lớp trẻ → "truyền lại kĩ thuật cho lớp trẻ".
→ *In my village, the old artisans pass down the techniques to make beautiful baskets to the younger ones.*
b) *take care of* = chăm sóc, trông nom (= be responsible for).
→ *When we aren't at home, our neighbours take care of our cats.*
c) *hand down* = trao/để lại (đồ) cho người nhỏ tuổi hơn. Chủ ngữ là *her elder sister*, tân ngữ nhận là *Mai*.
→ *Her elder sister handed down most of her clothes to Mai.*
d) *get on with somebody* = hòa hợp, thân thiết với ai. "Have a friendly relationship" → thêm trạng từ *well*.
→ *She gets on well with her classmates.*
e) *remind somebody of somebody/something* = làm ai nhớ đến ai/cái gì. Tân ngữ *me* đặt ngay sau *remind*.
→ *His hair and face remind me of his father.*
